Age requirement (17+)
The Services are intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
1) Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Information you provide: account information (name, username, email), customer support messages, fragrance collection and usage logs, and photos you choose to add.
- Information collected automatically: device information, usage analytics, crash logs, and location (approximate or precise) only if you allow it.
- Cookies and similar technologies: if parts of the Services are provided via web content, we may use cookies/local storage (which may include web beacons) for login, preferences, and measurement.
2) How we use information
- Provide and maintain the Services.
- Personalize your experience.
- Improve and develop the Services.
- Provide customer support and respond to requests.
- Protect security and integrity.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
3) Optional AI-assisted features (if you choose to use them)
The App may offer optional AI-assisted features that can process text or images you choose to upload (for example, generating descriptions, summaries, tags, or other content related to your fragrance entries). If you use these features:
- User control: you decide whether to upload and whether to generate AI-assisted outputs.
- Processing location: uploaded text/images are processed on Aromira-controlled servers.
- No third-party sharing: we do not share your uploaded AI content with any third party.
- No training/marketing: we do not use your uploaded content to train models or for marketing.
- Deletion after processing: we delete AI inputs and generated outputs from our servers promptly after processing, unless you explicitly choose to save the output in the App.
4) Photos, face data, and biometric information
- No face recognition: we do not perform face recognition.
- No biometrics: we do not collect or process biometric identifiers for identification purposes.
- One-time processing (if applicable): if a feature requires processing a photo you upload, it is processed once and then deleted from our servers as described above.
- Default local storage: photos you add for record-keeping are stored locally on your device by default unless you choose a feature that uploads them.
6) International data transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.
7) Data security
We use reasonable measures such as encryption in transit and (where appropriate) at rest, access controls, regular reviews, and backups. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, and you are responsible for keeping credentials confidential.
8) Data retention
- Account data: while your account is active.
- Account deletion: delete or anonymize within 30 days, subject to legal requirements.
- Usage/analytics: up to 12 months.
- Customer support: up to 6 months.
- Location: only as needed for the relevant feature.
9) Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict/object, and withdraw consent. To exercise rights, email udnrvtgp652760@outlook.com. We respond within 5 business days and may verify your identity.
10) Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Policy to the extent permitted by law.
11) Dispute resolution
To the maximum extent permitted by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration, and the laws of the jurisdiction of our principal place of business will govern, without regard to conflict of law principles.
